Managing Director
I founded eps during the summer of 2020, the really hot one when most of us were on furlough. I worked day and night for six months to get the business off the ground and have since worked with some amazing candidates and clients. My focus is to provide all with opportunity and to create growth strategies for all parties via talent acquisition, advice, retention and development. I believe in being honest and consultative and will always give my opinion to best assist you. Having spent 15 years in finance recruitment I have a strong network of candidates and clients and one of my key strengths is a knowledge of the locations I work in.
My Recruitment Career
I’ve been working in financial recruitment since 2010. Having, like most, fallen into the industry. I started with Hays and then worked for numerous small firms as well as Randstad. Eventually, I ended up at an owner-managed firm and we built the business to a team of seven for whom I was wholly responsible whilst also managing my own clients.
What are you good at?
I feel that my major strengths are listening to what people are looking for, consulting on this, and responding with an actionable plan of action. This applies to both those seeking new team members and those in search of new opportunities.
I’m honest and upfront. I believe I provide a solid sounding board when initiating a hiring process. I possess a strong understanding of both HR and employment law and will advise you to the best of my knowledge as and when required. When I need assistance, I can call on experts around me for support.
What will you not do?
I won’t waste people’s time and I won’t send CV’s just for the sake of sending them. I won’t represent people without clearing companies with them nor will I send mass mailers in hope.
Hobbies
I constantly have projects that tend to focus on DIY and planning Adventures. I love to travel and I love creating and building things.
My dogs are a huge part of my life as is family.
My collection of psychological books ranging from those on anxiety to human history would indicate reading about ‘us’, behaviour and the brain is a hobby of mine!
Can’t forget cooking, the vegetable plot or the garden either. Basically, I like to keep busy!

Consultant - eps.london
We’re currently looking for entrepreneurial individuals to manage new sections for eps. At present, we are looking for those with exposure to the London Practice Market as well as a Commercial Finance Consultant in the Northern Home Counties. We offer fully remote working and an extremely good commission and bonus package.
Rocco and Baxter
Chief Happiness Officers
Two extremely important individuals in the eps story and office.
Both are always on hand when we need a moment away from calls and the computer and are more than happy to assist when required!
My Recruitment Career
Rocco joined David in early 2021 and Baxter in mid-2021 when he and his wife met. Both regularly join David in the office and sometimes make appearances on conference calls – they are fairly well-trained and tend to stay quiet, but are always on hand if you want to meet them!
